What is a Paediatric Rheumatologist?

A Paediatric Rheumatologist is a specialist who cares for children and adolescents with a range of conditions, from mechanical joint or muscle pains to complex autoimmune and multi-system inflammatory disorders.  Having trained in Paediatric Rheumatology in Singapore and London, United Kingdom, Dr. Ooi has vast experience in this field. She strives to provide comprehensive diagnosis and holistic care to help children with rheumatological conditions achieve their full potential. Dr. Ooi has also published several rheumatology research in peer-reviewed journals and medical conferences about myositis, JIA, JIA-related uveitis and chronic recurrent multifocal osteomyelitis.
